2014 George P. Mitchell Energy Program Webinar Series

The energy industry is facing a very exciting and dynamic time. Never in history has the industry seen the convergence of so many energy sources and technologies coming together to power our lives. It is vital that active industry participants and society at large have a solid understanding of how our energy industry is transforming and how this transformation will affect us. The George P. Mitchell Energy Program is beginning a webinar series to cover many of the latest topics and trends regarding energy efficiency, distributed generation, the smart grid, as well as the latest in oil and gas exploration and production. Presenters will be HARC scientists and program managers, as well as other industry leaders, discussing industry relevant research and trends that have a direct influence on the development of the energy market. This unique webinar series will provide listeners an opportunity to hear from scientists and program managers that are tasked with developing research and programs that are fact based and non-biased.
The series will kick-off on Thursday, April 24th, 2014 at 1:30PM and will cover HARC’s latest research on K-12 energy management programs in Texas. Future programs will include presentations for the oil and gas, energy efficiency and renewable energy industries. Planned energy efficiency webinars will include best practices in energy management for B and C commercial office space, energy efficiency financing opportunities and energy related highlights for the 2015 legislative session. Potential oil and gas presentations will include natural gas flaring mitigation practices and well-site waste management.
