HARC is an independent, non-partisan and non-profit research, policy and program implementation organization. We forge sustainability solutions that improve people’s quality of life for generations to come.

Who are the HARC experts?

HARC employees have diverse backgrounds and broad experience in science, technology, policy analysis, geospatial technologies, communications, and public relations, outreach and development.

HARC conducts independent air, energy, resilience and water analyses to create sustainable solutions that address our greatest challenges.

How energy efficient is your building?

HARC’s headquarters in The Woodlands, Texas, is a net-zero energy building, meaning that it produces more energy on-site than it uses. It’s one of fewer than 50 certified zero energy office buildings in the United States and the first in Texas.

How many different types of native plants are on your campus?

More than 70 native species of plants attract pollinators and reduce water usage at HARC’s headquarters.
