Watch HARC's webinar on Combined Heat and Power for Wastewater Treatment Plants
The application of combined heat and power (CHP) at wastewater treatment plants is proving to be a great opportunity to reduce energy costs, save money and improve the resilience of the plant. There is considerable opportunity for the deployment of CHP across the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) industry. The Department of Energy’s Southwest CHP Technical Assistance Partnership (CHP TAP), with support from NACWA, WEF and AMWA, led a webinar on the opportunities and applications of CHP at your WWTP recently. The CHP TAP can serve as a great resource for facilities considering implementing CHP systems and can help conduct no cost site screenings/analysis.
