Floating Solar in Texas

In partnership with the State Energy Conservation Office of Texas (SECO Texas), HARC developed Floating Solar in Texas: The Potential of Floating PV, an interactive tool that introduces floating solar technologies, presents real-world case studies, and allows users to explore opportunities for deploying floating photovoltaic (FPV) systems across Texas. With this tool, users can learn about what FPV is and understand its potential across various bodies of water stateside.

This tool, by merging educational content with Geographic Information Systems (GIS), helps non-technical users, policy makers, utility planners, and other stakeholders to understand this alternative way to deploy photovoltaic solar technologies.
