Bob Travis is the Vice President of Business Operations. In his role, he oversees and/or has dotted line management of the finance, IT, GIS, and HR functions at HARC.
His responsibilities include budget planning and reporting, and ensuring the availability and stability of resources, both human and systems, to support the organization. In addition, he supports the executive management team by providing insights and financial advice to allow the best business decisions for HARC. He is both analytical and collaborative across all functions to support the organization’s mission.
During his career, Mr. Travis has worked with organizations spanning the nonprofit, higher education, and hospital industries. With over forty years of experience in both the private and nonprofit sectors, he has effectively managed and thoughtfully stewarded the financial health of each of these organizations. His previous appointments include Department Administrator in the University of Texas System, and Senior Contract and Grants Administrator for the University of Houston.
Mr. Travis earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Baylor University, and an MBA from the University of Texas at Tyler.
