Andrea Wesolowski is the Senior Communications Manager, and works closely with HARC’s research and communications teams to develop and implement strategic communications plans to elevate HARC’s story, programs, and brand. She works directly with HARC’s teams to develop internal and external communications, including articles, press releases, blog posts, and various other marketing materials. She also manages all of HARC’s digital content, including content for the website and all social media channels.
Ms. Wesolowski has over twelve years of experience helping European organizations successfully design and deliver communications strategies to advance their vision and goals. She has worked in communications across a broad range of industries, including sustainability, infrastructure, chemicals, finance, automotive, agricultural, and housing sectors.
Most recently, Ms. Wesolowski was the Communications and Information Manager at the Residential Tenancies Board (RTB), the rental sector regulator in Ireland. She managed the RTB’s strategic communications and campaigns, stakeholder engagement, event management, and media relations activities. She was also the communications lead for the European Union’s European Green Capital and European Green Leaf Awards, initiatives which encouraged European cities to be more sustainable. Ms. Wesolowski also worked for the Geological Survey Ireland, the country’s earth science agency.
Ms. Wesolowski earned a Master of Science in European Governance from the University of Bristol in Bristol, United Kingdom. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with an emphasis in International Relations from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
