To further strengthen and shape HARC’s work in advancing climate equity, HARC is forming a Climate Equity and Community Resilience (CECR) Community Advisory Council. We are looking for local leaders, concerned residents, people who are passionate about the environment, seeking good jobs for their communities, and/or looking for opportunities for youth. Members who join will be provided an honorarium for their participation.
The Community Advisory Council will consist of community leaders and residents in Texas. Priority will be given to large population centers, persistent poverty areas, and environmental justice communities who are interested in creating the right solutions for their communities, as well as residents who want to have a voice in how changes are made. Members should be able to commit to participating up to 8 hours per month.
