McKenzie Roberts

Research Assistant, Energy and Environment

Ms. McKenzie Roberts is a Research Assistant at HARC, working with multiple programs and areas of research. She received her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sustainability with a minor in Meteorology from the University of Oklahoma. In this role at HARC, Ms. Roberts helps support the research efforts of HARC scientists and program directors. She conducts data collection, analyzes data, and develops marketing and communications content. Also, Ms. Roberts develops maps, analyzes risk assessment and mitigation, and works through various modules to study environmental and atmospheric profiling. She is also a key member of the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Combined Heat and Power (CHP) Technical Assistance Partnerships (TAP) program.

A recent graduate of the University of Oklahoma, McKenzie was active in Mu Alpha Theta (National Math Honor Society) and is a recipient of the National Science Foundation’s (NSF) Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR) and NASA Oklahoma Space Grant Consortium Fellowship.

    HARC, High Noon Advisors, Moonlight Interests, and the Texas Energy Poverty Research Institute have officially begun their Powered for Good initiative to design and assist in the implementation of clean, cheap electricity offerings for the approximately two and a half million low income households in Texas that can choose their electricity provider.
