Andra Wilcox, PMP

Research Scientist | Energy and Sustainability

Ms. Andra Wilcox is a Research Scientist working with Energy and Sustainability where she has conducted multiple on-site evaluations of upstream O&G operations in diverse ecosystems across the U.S. and Canada and has compiled comparison analyses of best practices of operators and service providers. She has a Master of Science in strategic leadership and a Graduate Certificate in Environmental Science from Texas A&M, Commerce. She is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Her previous experience includes community outreach, solid waste/recycling monitoring, residential and governmental contract compliance, municipal recycling facilities auditing, and field/site inspections for the Texas Department of State Health Services to mitigate proliferation of potential arbovirus vectors. Further, Ms. Wilcox conducts litter abatement efforts whereupon several miles of roads and pathways are surveyed and litter and debris is identified, categorized, and removed quarterly throughout the year.

She recently served as Principal Investigator on the Department of Energy funded Flaring Issues, Solutions and Technologies – 2019 program, which focused on flaring and emissions mitigation across the U.S. Ms. Wilcox assists with outreach to the oil and gas industry within the Combined Heat and Power Technical Assistance Partnership (CHP-TAP) for the Upper West and Southcentral regions, managed by HARC. Additionally, Ms. Wilcox is working on waste minimization, product and process stewardship, recycling enhancement and resource conservation initiatives encompassing both individual and commercial stakeholders.
