Upcoming Workshop: Improving Resilience with Combined Heat and Power on November 12
Join the Department of Energy’s Upper-West CHP TAP, IFMA and USGBC in Fargo, ND, on Tuesday. November 12, for a Lunch and Learn. The program will focus on how combined heat and power (CHP) can provide cost effective, reliable power and enhance the resilience of public and private facilities across the region.
This session will cover the drivers and strategies that have helped facilities in this region successfully adopt CHP as well as discuss lessons learned and best practices. HARC CHP research team, represented by Marina Badoian-Kriticos and Andra Wilcox, will share information about market trends, technologies, procurement and operations, and resilience strategies related to CHP. Attendees will also learn about federal, state, and local incentives, project financing options, and free technical screenings and feasibility studies provided by the DOE CHP TAP.
