Dr. Richard Haut to help recognize academic awardees at Houston Energy Day Festival, October 21st

Presented by Consumer Energy Alliance (CEA) and Consumer Energy Education Foundation (CEEF) and with tremendous participation from numerous sponsors, the Energy Day Festival is Houston’s largest annual FREE family festival showcasing science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Energy Day has interactive demonstrations and exhibits teaching students and their families about the various forms of energy, science, technology, efficiency, conservation, and careers available across the energy industry.

Dr. Richard Haut, HARC Program Director, Energy Production and Director of the Environmentally Friendly Drilling Systems (EFD) Program, serves on the Board of Directors for Consumer Energy Education Foundation (CEEF) and will be part of the Energy Day Academic Program (EDAP) awards presentation at Energy Day, taking place on October 21st at Sam Houston Park. CEEF provides outreach and educational support materials, events, activities, resources, and information about career opportunities in STEM and energy fields as well as the importance of energy, conservation and efficiency in our daily lives. To date, more than $100,000 in monetary prizes have been awarded to both educators and students through CEA and CEEF.
