Combined Heat and Power for Wastewater Treatment Plants - DOE SW CHP TAP Webinar
The application of combined heat and power (CHP) at wastewater treatment plants is proving to be a great opportunity to reduce energy costs, save money and improve the resilience of the plant. There is considerable opportunity for the deployment of CHP across the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) industry. The Department of Energy’s Southwest CHP Technical Assistance Partnership (CHP TAP), with support from NACWA, WEF and AMWA, will be leading a webinar on the opportunities and applications of CHP at your WWTP. The CHP TAP can serve as a great resource for facilities considering implementing CHP systems and can help conduct no cost site screenings/analysis. Please join us on April 21st at 1 pm CST/2 pm EST to learn about these CHP benefits and opportunities for your plant. Additional information can be found at our website –
